Time for another fun blog hop featuring
Club Scrap August Kit -

The paper in this kit is beautiful, vivid red, chocolate, black, gold, eggshell prints and solids.
The kit stamps are bold, exciting tribal inspired designs with several versatile sentiments.
Also included in the kit is a black and gold hand made paper and a container of Hematite embossing powder.  It's such a cool color ~ one I've never had before.

Well, when I saw the kit I knew instantly what I wanted to do with it.
Despite the heat wave we're now having here in Indiana the colors of this kit reminded me of Autumn so I wanted to create something that I could hang up for all to enjoy.

Here's what I came up with....

Club Scrap
Autumn Tribal Rosette Wreath

I cut several sheets of cardstock into strips in varying widths (from 1/2" - 4");
 scored each strip of paper at either 1/2" or 1/4" intervals;
folded, gathered and glued the strips to form the rosettes.
I stacked a few of the rosettes and added a vintage gold embossed button is at the center of most of the rosettes.

I stamped several of the tribal circle images and the floral looking tribal design onto eggshell cardstock and embossed using the Hematite ep.   I then cut out all of the stamped/embossed images and glued a few of the circles to some of the rosettes...

After all of my rosettes had dried, I glued them down to a chipboard wreath base.
I stacked the rosettes and tucked the embossed designs here and there.

I'm pretty tickled with how it came out.
I've made rosette wreaths for spring and summer before but never one for autumn.
I think these papers were a perfect fit!
I know this project takes several hours to create but I think it's so worth it...
