Autumn Mixed Media Canvas II

Today we pick up the mixed media canvas after all the gesso & water had a chance to dry overnight.

I wanted to add more texture to the canvas so I decided to use my Prima flourish stencils...

That I covered with gesso in two corners.

Once those gesso impressions were dry I added some gold and copper Distress Paints over the gesso.
I then used a circle stencil to add a bit more depth and went on to stamp a few brown leaves in the background.

The gesso still didn't pop like I wanted it to...

So I went over it with some copper Inka Gold metallic rub.

I then added more stamping with Monarch Orange ink and wanted a bit of contrast so I stamped the same image in the corner and embossed it with some Hematite EP which I added a bit to the bottom corner to even it out a bit.

I then inked and glued on a few different pieces of vintage text here and there and also added two pieces of Gold Dresden Trim.

I finished off the collage with this beautiful collage images from Graphic Fairy
and a few fall die-cuts.

I have a banner cut for the bottom but I need to figure out what
sentiment I want to add to it before I add it to the canvas.
Otherwise it's all done!

Now, that wasn't so hard was it?
It's your turn...
Time to pull out your fall goodies
and start to play!!

How long's it been since you've gotten inky?
