Fecal Matters: Swimming Advisory Issued for Burfoot County Park, Thurston County

BEACH Program Update

On July 18, 2014, Thurston County Public Health and Social Services Department issued a swimming advisory at Burfoot County Park.  This advisory was issued due to fecal bacteria in the water.  Thurston County will be resampling the water.

Contact with fecal contaminated waters can result in gastroenteritis, skin rashes, upper respiratory infections and other illnesses.
