Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a super weekend! We had a whirlwind trip to Sedalia, Missouri this past weekend for the 2015 Red Power Round-Up. This is the national show for vintage International/Farmall Tractors. Dh tells me on Tuesday that we'll be leaving at 2:00a.m. Wed. night...can I rent a car, call to get the dogs boarded, pack, etc. in time?? Oh my, tall order but I got it all done and we left at about 2:15a.m. It was a LONG haul out there - about 10.5 hrs with all of the construction going on but it was worth it. It was a fun time and I'll have photos to share prob. tomorrow...ds has the tractor photos on his camera (I have scenery photos on mine).
I hope you liked what I whipped up for you last week...I had to get it around in a hurry but the projects were made with love.
I've been getting several requests for more Brusho examples - apparently there are many of you interested in purchasing a set but still aren't sure if you want to spend the money. Well I vote YES! These color powders are a-MAZE-ing - seriously. Loads of fun and so easy to use. This card was made by first die-cutting the background into 3 sections. I then wet the paper, sprinkled on the desired colors of Brusho and then gave it a second spritz here and there. I heated it to dry it quickly then affixed each section to my card. I used Brusho's on the gnome and butterfly as well.
Later this week I will be sharing a complete list of the colors and what they look like on watercolor and regular papers (there is a bit of a difference). I think you will love them! If you have any questions about them, please feel free to ask. Also, several people have asked for a step by step on one of the cards I made for the watercolor blog hop (the one using the Creative Medium)...I'm working on a step by step for that too.
