Selena Gomez ended her quiet about her kidney transplant.

"My kidneys were quite recently done. That was it," a weepy Gomez disclosed to Savannah Guthrie in a sitdown with benefactor Francia Raisa, set to air Monday and Tuesday on "Today."

"I would not like to ask a solitary individual in my life, and that was the day I got back home and I discovered. [Raisa] volunteered and did it."

Gomez, 25, experienced the transplant in mystery in May, uncovering the difficulty just in September.

In October 2015, Gomez uncovered that she experienced chemotherapy to treat the immune system sickness. In August 2016, she withdrew from the spotlight to go to a Tennessee recovery focus to treat nervousness and misery that apparently originated from the condition.

Whenever asked, Gomez recognized that on-screen character Raisa, 29, spared her life.
